Off-post
Two different things get called off-post.
Some military family housing sits off the main gated installation: Aliamanu, Helemano, Mendonca Park, Red Hill, Pearl City Peninsula, Moanalua Terrace, and Marine neighborhoods in Aiea, Kailua, and Pearl City. Those are still Hunt / Ohana. Use the community sites above.
If you rent from a private owner or property manager, not Hunt or Ohana, those listings are here. Call the landlord or listing office direct.
If it is an HBR standard lease, the military clause should already be included. Take the lease to your Housing Services Office before you sign. Ask for a military clause.
